We are excited to announce that we will be returning to Japan this summer for our fourth straight missions trip. God has continued to open doors for us to serve in this vital missions field. There are over 127 millions Japanese, and less than 1 percent of them know Christ. We will be in japan from July 27th to August 14th.
This year, God has blessed us with a new team that will be serving with us. Preston Winowiski and our 1.5 year old son Hezekiah will be joining us again. Preston's girl friend Lily King (who has a passion for children's ministry and art) will be a new addition to our team. Additionally Preston's friend Brandon Dasher (who has already done extensive missions work in Europe) will be joining us as well. Finally Felicia will be carrying our seventh member of the team (baby #2).
Please continue to be praying for our team, as we are actively fundraising and preparing content for this year's trip.
This year there are three main portions of our Japanese Ministry.
Tokyo Ministry
We will be equipping multiple small churches in the Tokyo area (Niiza, Tamagawa, Machida, and a new church "Sakado"). We will also be leading a three day kids camp (Tama-Yuri-Shiki Camp), which is our largest outreach event filled with music, English, games, bible studies, and more. This camp is lead by three churches in the Tokyo area.
Shingu Ministry
Shingu is a rural community on the eastern coast of Japan, 6 hours south of Tokyo. We will be spending a week in Shingu doing cooking, sports, and English ministries (for kids and adults). We will complete our Shingu ministry with another three day kids camp with similar content to Tokyo.
Shingu US Trip
At the conclusion of our ministry in Shingu, a group of 5-8 members of pastor Kinoshita's church will fly with us back to Cincinnati, OH. In Cincinnati, they will connect with various ministries (children's, adults, international, young professions, worship arts) to better understand how God is moving in the US, and apply lessons learned to their ministries in Japan.
It is amazing how God has been moving over the years through our ministry. If you would like to partner with us (fiscally or in prayer), or if you have questions about our next trip feel free to reach out. =D
