Things are moving quickly as our big team is aggressively making plans for this trip.
We're prepping tons of English lesson plans, sermons, worship set lists, schedules/travel logistics, cooking classes, and activities for the kids. So much is coming together so quickly and I feel like God is going to move in some amazing ways this year. That new connections will be made, that leadership in Japan will grow, that congregations will have greater boldness in reaching their local communities, and people will come to know Christ.
Please be praying for our team in the coming weeks. Pray for us to have even greater depth in our relationship with Christ, that he will be the source of our strength and direction. That our team will be protected from the enemy, that our path will be straight. Pray for Felicia and I, as we prepare to give the benediction at People's church this Sunday, where we will discuss the missions field.
Please pray for our finances and we continue to raise funds for this trip. We trust in God's ability to provide, and we're excited to see him move mountains on this front. He's pulled off some crazy miracles over the years, and I wouldn't expect anything less this trip.
Pray for Felicia and I, as we balance work at Johnson and Johnson (Joe), teaching Chinese children English online (Felicia), making all these preparations, and of course raising Hezekiah. Its a lot. Our life is very full, but we know God will sustain us. You can do anything for 20 days...and sleep after that. lol
If you are little out of the loop on details of our fourth trip check out our previous blog and these other links. =D
